Description:
The LIPN wishes to strengthen the research in Machine Learning carried out within the “Apprentissage Artificiel et Applications” (A3) team through the recruitment of an associate professor.
The A3 team includes 2 full professors, 11 associated professors (including 4 HdR) and 12 PhD students. It is structured around 3 axes focused on major complementary areas of machine Learning: Learning from Data & Learners (ADA), Relational Learning & Graphs (ARG), Meta Learning & Structure Learning (MAS). Each area covers both fundamental and applied research, supported by collaborative academic and industrial projects.
The members of the A3 team publish in leading international conferences and journals and are strongly involved at the national and international level in leading the scientific community of machine learning. The A3 team is strongly involved in research training, notably through the “Data Science & Machine Learning (EID2)” program, the international “Data Science” program with USMBA, the “Mathematics of Data” and the Graduate School M&CS curriculum. Candidates focusing on all aspects of machine learning and its interaction with data science are strongly encouraged. The candidate’s research topics should include theoretical and application aspects compatible with those already in place.
