Le 30 juillet 2013 à 14h00 en B107, Hans Porst nous parlera de : Universal constructions for Hopf algebras

Résumé : Starting from a slightly more abstract definition of Hopf algebras as usual, we present a method towards solutions of universal constructions for Hopf algebras (as, e.g., existence of free and cofree ones). On doing so we propose the use of results of category theory, not just of categorical language.
The talk, however, will be non-technical in this respect. Only elementary knowledge of categorical language will be expected.
