To: fernique(a)lipn.fr Dear Prof. T. Fernique, My name Johan Nilsson and I am currently a post-doc-student in Prof. M. Baake's research group at Bielefeld university, Germany. Prof. Baake passed on your email about a post-doc position in the QuasiCool project to me. I find this project interesting and after reading the project summary, I think I have a background and interests that would be suitable for this position. Briefly, my background is a Ph.D in mathematics with undergraduate studies with as well in computer science, both theoretical and programming. During my research I have been looking at problems in symbolic dynamics and combinators where computers have played a vital part. I intend to send you an application for this post-doc position, but I have a few open questions. My main concern is that I am a bit unsure how to formulate the research project part in the application, and how detailed this should be. I would be thankful for any hints or ideas on this matter. Best regards, Johan Nilsson !DSPAM:474,541f0eaa269951308611494!
