Christophe Tollu fera une introduction à la complexité algébrique: classes VBP, VP et VNP, l'hypothèse de Valiant et la complexité déterminantale.
La semaine suivante il n’y aura pas d’exposés prévus car il s’agit d’une semaine de vacances. Le séminaire suivant aura lieu le 7 Novembre.

Hi everyone,
The next talk in the Complexities axis seminar will take place on
** Monday October 21th, at 2.30pm, in hybrid mode (room B107 and https://bbb.lipn.univ-paris13.fr/b/sei-nlh-8vr-xvy) **
Christophe Tollu will give an introduction to algebraic complexity: the complexity classes VBP, VP and VNP, Valiant’s conjecture, and determinantal complexity.
No seminar is planned the week after that (because of the holidays); the next talk will be scheduled for November 7th.

On Monday (October 17th), we will have a

** talk on “Boolean circuits” given by Damiano Mazza at 2pm in hybrid (B107 and https://bbb.lipn.univ-paris13.fr/b/sei-nlh-8vr-xvy) **

Ulysse Léchine nous parlera de preuves interactives.
Merci à Morgan qui ouvrira la salle et assurera la mise en place de la visio car je serai en mission.
La semaine suivante (le 17 octobre), l’exposé aura exceptionnellement lieu à 14h, certainement en salle E303, et sera précédé d’un buffet de rentrée de l’axe à partir de 12h30 dans la salle commune du LIPN. Venez nombreuses et nombreux! L’exposé sera donné par Damiano Mazza, qui nous parlera de circuits booléens.

The speaker will be Ulysse Léchine, and he will talk about Interactive Proofs.
A special thanks to Morgan who will open the seminar room and organise the visioconference, as I will be travelling on Monday.
The talk after that (October 17th) will exceptionally take place at 2pm in the E303 room. It will be preceded by a buffet (starting at 12.30) in the LIPN common room. Come in numbers!
The talk itself will be given by Damiano Mazza; he will talk about boolean circuits.
