Résumé: Generating Referring Expressions from RDF Knowledge Graphs for Data Linking
Description: Armita Khajeh-Nassiri In a knowledge graph, a referring [removed]RE) is a logical formula that can uniquely identify an entity. We propose a novel approach for discovering REs that are valid within a class of a knowledge graph. There can potentially exist many REs for each entity, hence we have focused on those descriptions that are 1) minimal 2) diverse and that 3) can not be found by instantiating the keys. As an application, we study the data linking problem that, given two knowledge graphs G1 and G2, finds the possible links between the entities of G1 and G2. We show that REs can drastically improve the quality of data linking.
