Incremental construction of Alpha lattices
The current version of the extension of Galicia is to be found
in:
To experiment incremental construction of alpha lattices and
corresponding rules:
- open a relational family (.rcf) as essayFlyPartition.rcf
- menu alpha - item "show alpha window"
- select an alpha value (e.g. 60%) (corresponding to a minsupp
threshold for frequent lattices of each relation)
- select one or several relations on the leftmost table (e.g.
mammals, animals, insects)
- button "build lattice" to build the lattices
- select the lattices built on the rightmost table
- button "show lattice" to see the lattices (in separate
windows) (right click on each node to see the intents (frequent
closed terms), the frequent extents
- button "merge lattice" to merge these frequent lattices and
obtain the corresponding alpha lattice
- button "generators" to build the generators (minimal terms for
each node), necessary for rules
- button "generic basis" to obtain the exact rules (previously
define minimal support for rules)
(a rule from a generator to a closed term of the same node)
- button "informative basis" to obtain the approximate rules
(previously also define confidence support for rules)
(approximate rules from a generator of a node to a closed term
to another, lower, node)
(note that there is a bug that makes sometimes appears rules
with support lower than minsupp)
- button "show lattice" to see the alpha lattice) (right click
on each node to see the intent I(alpha closed terms), the alpha
extent E, and the set of generators G))
