My research focuses on Semantic Technologies, on both theoretical and applied aspects. I have been working on Medical Informatics (e.g. the ONIONS methodology and ontology), Formal Ontology (e.g. the DOLCE and D&S foundational ontologies), Semantic Web (e.g. Ontology Design Patterns), Knowledge Extraction (e.g. the FRED machine reader), Exploratory Search (e.g. the Aemoo explorer), in domains including Biomedicine, Law, Business, Fishery, Cultural Heritage, History, Finance, Advertisement.

My teaching (at the Institut Galilée of Paris 13 University, and international schools such as SSSW) spans over Semantic Web (see Facebook page of Paris13 SW courses), Knowledge Representation, Web Programming, and Information Extraction.

My publications can be found (and downloaded for the most part) from public aggregation sites such as Google Scholar or DBLP. Cool visualizations can be seen on Arnet Miner or the Semantic Scout search engine.

Software I have contributed is demoed here. Data I have contributed to design are described here. Some ontologies and patterns designed by me and my colleagues are here, here and here.
