ANR JCJC grant "CombPhysMat2Tens"
The ANR grant "CombPhysMat2Tens - Combinatorial physics, from matrix models to random tensor models" has a post-doc opening for a period of one year (which may be renewed once).
The grant is funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). Its main research objectives gravitate around the combinatorics of random tensor models, seen as a generalization of matrix models. This forms a new research topic at the crossroads of combinatorics (analytic, algebraic, enumerative, etc.), graph theory and theoretical physics (quantum field theory, quantum gravity).
Both young computer scientists and mathematical physicists are encouraged to apply.
The researchers involved in the project are: Adrian Tanasa and Mario Valencia-Pabon (U Paris 13), Thomas Krajewski (U Marseille & U Paris 13), Axel de Goursac (UC Louvain) and Fabien Vignes-Tourneret (CNRS Lyon).
The post-doc researcher will work in Villetaneuse but is expected to interact with the researchers from other sites of the project as well as
with the other scientists working on these topics in the Paris region.
